  1. Man of Steel was great. SFX looked realistic, which is super impressive ugh. The fist fight with the general near the end was a little long, but I thought it ended well. Other than that, pacing and characters were really good, I thought. Supermaaaaaan~~

Cirque du Soleil (La Nouba) was AWESOME. I am always so impressed with performance arts. This show was 100 minutes of pure gold and a lot of variety. SO GOOD.

“consent is sexy” no fuck you consent is a basic fucking right every human being deserves and we shouldn’t have to sexualize it to convey its importance

                  1. To think in terms of either pessimism or optimism oversimplifies the truth. The problem is to see reality as it is.

                    1. When did you start meditating? & Why? ...

I first learned of meditation when I was ten years old. My eldest brother taught me a certain kind of meditation technique. I didn’t really understand it but I thought it was cool.

I didn’t take up meditation as a regular practice until my freshman year of college. I just felt as though something was wrong. Things didn’t add up, the world wasn’t what people were claiming it was, and I wanted to find out the truth.

My father had died less than two years before then and everything I knew seemed to be turned upside down. I didn’t want answers, I wanted insight.

That passion led me from person to person, guru to guru, until I started having certain experiences. Then I knew I was onto something.

At first, I started clinging to and seeking more of those experiences. Over time, I realized that what I sought wasn’t a transitory experience but rather the endless and timeless peace of self-realization.

When that became clear, I knew I wouldn’t stop for the rest of my life. So long as I have breath in this body, I will puzzle over existence until the reality of truth reveals itself as self-evident.

                      Namaste :)
