Today this thing happened. After work and after therapy I went to an art show that was opening (my friend’s friends were showcasing) at a trendy place not far from my new place (I like saying it’s my new place, since I guess I’m not used to it yet). Lots of hipsters, hah, guys with awesome beards and girls with awesome bangs.
I adored the artwork there, I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a good surprise. Drawings, collages, paintings, and of course I didn’t take pictures, but there was this weird painting that was made up of lots of outlines for different figures overlapping, and I was mesmerized with an image in it of a couple fucking. A guy and a girl, in a sort of sitting position, and the girl’s vagina has hair. Like normal pubic hair, and I though that was so fucking cool, man!
I think I’m tired of shaved pussies. I have phases for everything, but it’s strange to realize that I haven’t even questioned the “law of bald” over the past few months… Who am I turning into?
Art is nice cause it makes us question. In my case, pubic hair.
There’s a difference between people communicating, and just endless memes of cats playing the piano.
We’ve featured the creative work of Minneapolis-based designer, illustrator, and artist Phil Jones at least a few times before. While we like everything we’ve seen by him thus far, we’re particularly taken with his Lost Signs street art series. Here are a few of our favourites.
